Semi-Homemade Tres Leches Cake

When you need a great dessert, but want to save some time!


1 Boxed Yellow Cake Mix

3 Eggs

1 1/4 Cups Water

2 Teaspoons Vanilla

1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil


1 14 oz Can Sweetend Condensed Milk

1 12 oz Can Evaporated Milk

1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream

Whipped Cream

1Cup Heavy Whipping Cream

3 Tablespoons Confectioners' Sugar

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract


1. Preheat Oven to 350°. Grease a 13x9 in. Baking Pan

2. Using Large Bowl, Mix Eggs, Water, Oil, and Vanilla Beat on Low Speed for 2 Minutes or until mature is Smooth. Transfer to Greased Pan, and Bake 30-35 Minutes. Cool on Wire Rack 20 Minutes.

3. In Medium Bowl Mix Topping Ingredients Until Smooth. Using a Skewer or Fork Generously Poke Holes into Top of Warm Cake. Pour Topping Mixture Over Cake Filling Holes. Cool 30 More Minutes. Refrigerate, Covered for at least 4 Hours Overnight is Best.

4. Using Medium Bowl, Mix Whipped Cream Ingredients Beat Cream Until Soft Peaks Form. Gently Spread Over Cake. "For a Sweeter Treat Double the Whipped Cream Recipe" Serve Plain or Dust with Cinnamon!
