Cinco De Mayo is coming…..

The celebration of Cinco De Mayo is almost upon us. We looked on Wikipedia as to what exactly is Cinco De Mayo and what is the origin, this is what we found:

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a celebration held on May 5. It is celebrated in the United States and regionally in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla, where the holiday is called El Día de la Batalla de Puebla (English: The Day of the Battle of Puebla). It originated with Mexican-American communities in the American West as a way to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War, and today the date is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

Most of us don’t even know that, but what we do know is it’s a great day to enjoy some Mexican style cuisine and perhaps enjoy a few cervezas (that’s beer for those of you who don’t know)! Anyway, we plan on some great specials at all 3 of our locations for Cinco De Mayo this year so we hope you grab some friends or your family and enjoy is in celebrating!

Oh yeah, and now that you know it -  don’t forget to tell your friends the origin of this day’s fun celebration!

Come down to any of our three locations and enjoy our wide array or fresh cuisine including: chili, nachos, burritos, tacos, salad wraps, fajita wraps, and a whole lot more! We look forward to serving you up a made to order fresh meal – gluten free meals also available.
